Casa Carolina is a NAUI Dream Resort where all levels of diving education are available, from resort courses through Instructor Training.  Bob Villier, a NAUI Instructor Trainer, has been diving since the 1960’s.  When he first came to Xcalak in 1994, he knew his search for the dive site of his dreams had ended.  Since then, creating the ideal resort in this mostly undiscovered setting has been his goal. Whether you’re interested in continuing your diving education or just recreational diving in these undisturbed, pristine blue waters, you’ll find Bob ready to tailor your diving experience to suit your level of skill and interest.  In Xcalak, you never have to worry about diving with a large crowd.  Each dive is a personal experience.

The NAUI Training Center at Casa Carolina offers all levels of Scuba training from Open Water Certification to Instructor. 

SCUBA Refresher - This is for you if you have been certified but have not been diving recently. You will receive a review of safe diving practices and participate on a shallow reef boat dive with a NAUI Instructor. A certification card from any agency must be presented..........

Open Water Certification - the C-card. You will need a minimum of 5 days to complete this course. This is your ticket to diving around the world..........

Try SCUBA (Resort Course) - This course will give you the basic knowledge you need to make a safe SCUBA dive directly supervised by a NAUI instructor..........

Recreational Diving - One tank dive or two tank dive..........

Diver Passport Program - You will get an academic overview of diving, skill training in shallow water and two open water boat dives. After completion of the passport program you can participate in supervised open water dives in other NAUI and SSI locales around the world. The Passport Program also gives you credit toward full, entry-level NAUI or SSI certification..........

Open Water Referral - The NAUI training center at Casa Carolina is a Universal Referral Location authorized to conduct open water certification for the course you started at home. Home instructor referral is required. Participating agencies include NAUI, IDEA, PDIC, NASDS, SSI and YMCA SCUBA..........

Ask for information about arranging more advanced NAUI certifications. Rescue Diver, Dive Master, Assistant Instructor, and Instructor Training all are available at Casa Carolina. We will be glad to provide individual or small group training.
